There is a magical place in San Daniele del Friuli, a town famous for the ham PDO, where the guest is thrilled at the sight of the Friuli plain and the Friulian Dolomites (UNESCO Heritage Site). This place is the panoramic terrace of the Relais Picaron where “starred” chef Marco Carraro has accepted the challenge of proposing a kitchen of excellence and quality, combining the originality and the search for new flavours with culinary tradition of Friuli. This gave rise to dishes that tell the territory, but also stories of emigration of flavours of other places where the Friulians in the decades went to try their luck.
>Fish, meat, the perfumed PDO ham of San Daniele del Friuli in the proposal of several ham factories, vegetables and greens of the territory, flavourful cheeses that this land offers in abundance. Each dish accompanied by a selected wine cellar with over 300 labels including champagne, Italian sparkling wines and domestic and foreign wines.
